Educational Directives -
  • Target undergraduates for more comprehensive exposure to experimental methods and research in structural dynamics and nonlinear dynamical behaviors.
  • Focus on making undergraduate engineering education inter-disciplinary and more experimental (inquiry-based) in nature through the use of class demos and test trips.
  • Partner with industry and federal laboratories to expose undergraduate/graduate students to cutting edge technology in real-world applications of course material.
  • Encourage underrepresented students to pursue graduate studies in engineering by facilitating internships on and off-campus in emerging areas of analytical and experimental structural dynamics.
