What's new? (as of 5:00PM 22 August 2020):

1. The initial schedule of topics has been posted on Brightspace. The schedule may be changed as circumstances require.
   
2. The textbook for CE361 is the 7th Printing of Edition 2 of Fundamentals of Transportation Engineering by Fricker and Whitford.
   • Because tests in CE361 are open book, each student needs his/her own copy.
   • The printed textbook is available at University Bookstore -- in The Village and (maybe) at 720 Northwestern Avenue. The text's format is coil bound, two volumes, shrink wrapped.
   • You may also order the textbook directly from the publisher. I will send instructions on how to do this to students registered for CE361. The digital version of the textbook must be ordered directly from the publisher.
   • Do not buy the hard cover 1st edition or any printing of the coil-bound second edition older than the 7th printing. The 7th printing of the 2nd edition contains significant changes from previous printings.
   • When you buy the book, compare its price with the price of books -- new, used, and rented -- immediately adjacent to it on the bookstore shelves. I have.
