On-Site Visits

Farm worksite assessmentTo help make Indiana farm worksites, homes, and rural businesses more accessible, staff members offer:

  • Agricultural worksite assessments
  • Recommendations for home modifications
  • Relevant resource material
  • Referrals to other sources of information and assistance
  • Advocacy when needed
  • Case management

Onsite visits and assessments can be scheduled through the Project's Rural Rehabilitation Specialist, and the length of these visits depends on the nature of the farm, home, or business and the type of barriers that must be overcome.

Please note that AgrAbility cannot provide direct funding or provide equipment or modifications. However, Project staff members can help customers work with Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VR), a state agency that empowers individuals with disabilities, particularly individuals with significant disabilities, to achieve high quality employment.
