Disabled American Veterans
An organization of veterans with disabilities committed to assisting veterans in obtaining benefits and services earned through their military service. Includes assistance in filing claims for disability compensation, a national employment program, and a national legislative program.

Educational Equity Center
Services includes educational materials to support the integration of children with and without disabilities into community programs, information and referral, and programs that focus on issues of women and girls with disabilities.

Family Center on Technology and Disability

Offers career help for individuals with disabilities such as career exploration, job search, retention assistance, training in various business skills, and one-on-one assistance in all phases of job search.

JAN - Job Accommodation Network
A free consulting service designed to increase the employability of people with disabilities by providing individualized worksite accommodations solutions, technical assistance regarding the ADA and other disability-related legislation, and education for callers about self-employment options.

Joni and Friends - Accelerating Christian Ministry in the Disability Community
A Christian outreach to people with disabilities. Programs and services includes daily devotionals, radio broadcasts, family retreats, and an information and resources page.

North American Riding for the Handicapped Association, Inc. (NARHA)
Serves individuals in groups interested in participating in, beginning, or learning about equine assisted activities. Includes a list of NARHA centers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Parents Helping Parents - The Family Resource Center
PHP's mission is to help children with any special need receive the resources, care, education, and other services they need to reach their full potential.

Social Security Administration - Disability Program
Discusses social security benefits for people with disabilities. Includes a monthly e-newsletter, downloadable pamphlets, and social security card applications.

Through the Looking Glass
Offers brochures, fact sheets, articles, videos, and newsletters on parenting with a disability. Offers consultation regarding pregnancy, birthing, custody, adoption and adaptive baby-care equipment and other issues concerning parents with disabilities and their families, and evaluations of parents with disabilities involved in marital or child custody situations.
