Concrete Canoe

Our Purpose

The Purdue Concrete Canoe Team was reestablished during the 2012-2013 academic year after a multi-year hiatus. Over the past three years our Chapter's concrete canoe has taken on multiple names – whether it was the "Wabash Rat" crawling its way back to the water in '12-'13, or the "Phoenix" rising from the Class C Fly Ash in '13-'14, or "One Small Step" making a giant leap forward in '14-'15. With each year our team continues to improve its quality and competitiveness in the ASCE Great Lakes Regional Student Conference against other schools in our region. While we have not received any accolades since reviving our Chapter's team three years ago, we certainly plan to make waves in this year's competition.
