Bridge Bust Highschool Competition
About Bridge Bust
Every spring Purdue ASCE hosts the Bridge Bust High School Outreach Event for high schools in the Midwest. The purpose for each student team is to build a bridge that is the most structurally efficient, meaning the bridge can carry the highest load while having the smallest mass. Awards are given based on structural efficiency and aesthetic appeal. Along with the main competition, there are also side competitions for students to participate in throughout the day.
The 2018 Bridge Bust event has ended. We had a great time this year and thank you to all the schools for coming out! Join us next year for Bridge Bust 2019! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
