During August 7-13, 2006 I attended a repousse class at the Golden Pheasant Art Metal Studio in Bosie, Idaho. For this six day period I was the only student of master blacksmith, Nahum Hersom.
This was an ideal learning experience. I wish all teaching could be done on a one-to-one basis like this. I learned many things and had a terrific time.
Nahum is a wonderful man with much to offer in many dimensions. He is a master at repousse, a great blacksmith, long-time machinist and a philosopher. We had so much to talk about I had trouble staying on topic.
Did I mention that Nahum Hersom is 88 years old and prefers that I call him Grandpa?
