AERODYNAMICS IN AERO & ASTRO ENGINEERING AT PURDUE

This is the web homepage of the aerodyn account at Purdue University in the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This is a repository of materials for all classes in aerodynamics in the school. The page is here primarily for the benifit of AAE students just getting familiar with the account.

AERODYN:

All aerodynamics classes in AAE have directories in the account:
/home/roger/a/aerodyn
You should familiarize yourself with this account. Make sure you know how to access it and copy stuff from it. To do this: go to the UNIX prompt and type:
cd /home/roger/a/aerodyn
See the README file there for instructions.

CLASS LINKS

A few classes have web links. Here they are:

LINKS TO GOOD STUFF

There is a lot of aerodynamics related sites on the Web. This isn't too bad an entry point: AeroLinks

For your convenience, here is a very nice online text by Ilan Kroo at Stanford.

Here are some AERO FUN things developed at NASA, including a simple airfoil simulation (FOILSYM)
