Supervised color classifiers are build from a color data base. The data base should represent the variation of each color class. The data base is sampled from images using an imaging utility which is hardware dependent (Sun, Silicon Graphics, PC). The following figure presents a sampling of a color image. The pixels enclosed in boxes are downloaded to the data base file.
