Biography

I received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 2007. Currently I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, working jointly with Prof. David Love and Prof. Ragu Balakrishnan. Last summer I worked as an intern with the Citadel Investment Group, Chicago. I also spent the summers of 2008 and 2009 at Qualcomm, San Diego and Motorola, Fort Lauderdale respectively. My research interests are in the design of modern communication systems, stochastic processes and time-series data. I have been a recipient of Magoon Award for Teaching Excellence for academic year 2008 and 2009.
