Kiarash earned his B.Sc. in Engineering Science (Aerospace option) in 2013 from the University of Toronto in Canada. His undergraduate thesis project was focused on trajectory analysis of solar sails in multi-body regimes. In the summers of 2012 and 2013, he participated in a research fellowship program in the astrophysics department at the University of Toronto where he investigated a planetary Dynamo model for Saturn’s axi-symmetric magnetic field. Kiarash began his graduate studies at Purdue University in the fall of 2013 and completed his M.S.A.A. in 2015. His research focused on incorporation of mission design constraints in orbital maintenance strategies for libration point orbits in multi-body regimes. Kiarash has accepted a position as a Research Scientist with the Advanced Technology Center at Lockheed Martin’s Space System Company in Palo Alto, California.
