This year BMES is implementing a new membership policy. A general membership is given to every BME student in the Purdue BME program. Official membership is available to undergraduates of all majors and includes many more benefits with a few simple steps.
(1) Fill out the official sign-up form linked here.
(2) Pay dues. Dues are $15 for one semester and $20 for both semesters. These can be sent to venmo account @Dalton-Aaker.
Official membership benefits include priority access to all events, priority access to food at events, resume book participation, access to apply for BMES scholarships, access to apply for BMES executive board positions, and the ability to win prizes in our incentive program.
If you have any additional questions about the new membership policies, please contact celizaga@purdue.edu.
If you were unable to attend out callout(s), we have attached the slides we went through here. In these slides we explain the four pillars of BMES and the different benefits and events we put on throughout the year!
If you are a student based at the Indianapolis campus, we still welcome you to register and be a part of our organization! We cannot guarantee that all of our in-person events can be replicated in Indianapolis, but you are still welcome to join us at your convenience. However, we have a number of events that can also be joined virtually. We recognize that the distance between campuses doesn't allow for the most convenient options, but we are working with administration and previous BMES organizations in Indianapolis to determine a more inclusive long term plan for students at your campus.
