Announcements
Welcome back everybody! The Biomedical Engineering Society is happy to welcome you into the Spring 2025 Semester! Have a great syllabus week!!
A little reminder ? the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is for everyone in the Biomedical Engineering program at Purdue. You have general access to events by being in the Purdue BME Program. As we announced last semester, official BMES membership is available to undergraduates of all majors and requires a few additional steps to be taken. More information about membership and overall BMES information will be shared at our callout. Callout information will be shared in next week?s email.
BMES Buzz is one of the ways BMES informs students of the different events we are hosting. This email will be sent out weekly on Mondays. The general format of this email will be Event Overview, Event Details, Brain Break, and Contact Us.
We encourage everyone to add the google calendar to their personal calendar. This will allow you to automatically see all of the events we host directly on your calendar! To add it all you need to do is follow the instructions linked here, the email to enter is bmespurdue@gmail.com.
BMES invites you to check out your inventive points, which are earned by attending different events BMES hosts. Linked here is the leaderboard for the incentive program with all points from the Fall semester included. Please reach out to jrschlos@purdue.edu with any questions about the inventive program.

Brain Breaks this semester will be New York Times Games themed! This means that every week, we will provide a Wordle, Connections, or Strands game which is related to BME or Purdue.
Here is the link to the Wordle. (Hint: When you graduate, you will have heard this word at least once in one of your classes!)
Here is the link to the Connections!
If you have any suggestions for this email, brain breaks, or BMES overall, please fill out this quick form!
