The long-awaited UK leg of Swift's Eras Tour will kick off at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, 7 June, the first of three shows in the Scottish capital.

The pop star will then head to Liverpool for three dates at Anfield Stadium, followed by one show at Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

She will perform three consecutive shows at London's Wembley Stadium between Friday, 21 June and Sunday, 23 June, before returning for five further gigs at the same venue in August.

Tickets for Taylor Swift's UK Eras Tour went on sale in July 2023, followed by a second batch in November 2023. These tickets promptly sold out due to huge demand.

Fans who missed out on tickets can catch Swift's Eras Tour concert film on Disney+. Following its cinematic release last year, it became the most profitable concert movie of all time, surpassing Justin Bieber's 2011 film Never Say Never.

Why is the Eras Tour significant?

The upcoming UK shows on the Eras Tour have sparked huge excitement because fans have been waiting so long for Swift's return to British soil.

The 15 gigs will mark Swift's first tour of the UK since 2018's Reputation Stadium Tour. She was due to return in 2020 for the Lover Fest tour, but was forced to cancel those dates due to the COVID pandemic.

Since COVID, she has released four chart-topping new albums – Folklore, Evermore, Midnights and The Tortured Poets Department. She re-recorded four other LPs, Fearless, Red, Speak Now and 1989, all of which which also went to number one.

The Eras Tour kicked off with a string of US shows in March 2023, and is due to wrap up in Canada this December, following a run of of 152 gigs across five continents.

It is already the highest-grossing tour in history, overtaking Elton John's farewell tour – having grossed more than $1 billion by December 2023.

The British dates will provide a £997 million boost to the UK economy, according to a report by Barclays, due to fans splashing out on tickets, travel, accommodation and outfits.

Which songs will Taylor Swift perform?

Swift's UK shows will include material from all 11 of her 'eras' – or phases of her career – going right back to her 2006 debut album. Her most recent gig, in the French city of Lyon, lasted for three hours and 20 minutes, and featured a mammoth 47 songs.

She has largely kept the same setlist since the opening show of the tour last year. But she altered the setlist at the start of the European leg in May, to include material from The Tortured Poets Department, which came out in April.

This meant she dropped six songs: The Archer, Long Live, The 1, The Last Great American Dynasty, 'Tis The Damn Season and Tolerate It. It's unclear whether she will make further changes for the UK shows.

In addition to the main setlist, each concert has included two 'surprise' songs, performed acoustically. These are typically album tracks and fan favourites rather than big hits.
