The Kings held a pre-draft workout Wednesday at their Golden 1 Center practice facility featuring a few players who are projected as possible first-round picks.

A league source told The Sacramento Bee the workout included Creighton guard Trey Alexander, Pittsburgh guard Carlton Carrington, Miami guard Kyshawn George and Weber State small forward Dillon Jones.

The Kings have the 13th pick in the first round of the NBA Draft, which will be held June 26-27. They also have the No. 45 pick in the second round.

Sacramento will likely shop current and future draft picks in an attempt to add another key piece to a core that includes De’Aaron Fox, Domantas Sabonis and Keegan Murray. In the meantime, the Kings will work diligently to get to know this year’s draft prospects.
