After Monday's procession past Dusan Lajovic, Roger Federer's Wimbledon campaign continues today with a second-round match against the Slovakian world No 73 Lukas Lacko.
Lacko comes into the match in a good run of form, having blasted his way to the Eastbourne final last week. He has been ranked as high as No 44, and can be a threat on grass with his big-serving game.
His record against Federer is less encouraging however, having been twice thumped in straight sets in the pair's only previous two meetings.
Federer meanwhile enjoyed such a simple victory on Monday that all talk afterwards focused on his switch from Nike to Uniqlo clothing.
Federer's deserting of Nike has been a major talking point over the last couple of days, with Serena Williams one of many players to be pressed on the issue.
“I think both parties have to do what’s best in their interest,” Williams said on Monday. “I don’t know the ins-and-outs and the details. I am still a Nike athlete.
