Football fans will be able to meet Brazilian legend Pele at a charity dinner in Penarth .
The global star, widely regarded as the greatest footballer of all time, is to attend a sports dinner in the town to support youth sport in June.
Football fans will be able to meet the sporting star at the Vale Sports Arena on June 2 for a dinner supporting local junior sport and PG10, a not-for-profit football coaching organisation.

The 76-year-old won the World Cup on three occasions with his country is the all-time leading goalscorer for Brazil with 77 goals in 91 games.
The Vale Sport Arena also have separate sports dinners lined up with boxer Ricky Hatton, and Glenn Hoddle, Harry Redknapp, and Stan Collymore from February.
Pele has previous experience with Wales and football, scoring his first international goal for Brazil against Wales in 1958 knocking them out of the competition in Sweden.

On June 19 Pele secured a 1-0 victory against Wales in Gothenburg which set his team up to win their first World Cup trophy against the hosts.
The event with Pele takes place the day before the Champions League Final comes to Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on Saturday, June 3.
Pele was voted World Player of the Century by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) in 1999 and he is known for connecting the phrase “the beautiful game” to football.
According to the IFFHS Pele is the most successful goalscorer in the world, netting 1,281 goals 1,363 matches in his 24-year-long career.

Pele, whose full name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento, retired as a player from football in 1977 and went on to become a worldwide ambassador for the game and received several accolades including an honorary knighthood from the Queen in 1997.
