LeBron James will not play 48 minutes in any of the Finals' first few games says Tyronn Lue
That’s the assurance that Cleveland Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue has given going into Game 1.
James and the Cavs yet again have to topple the All-Star-littered Golden State Warriors in the best-of-seven Finals, which get underway at Oracle Arena in California tomorrow (2am UK time).
James averaged 41 minutes in seven games of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics, including 46 minutes in Game 6 and an incredible 48 in Game 7 despite just a day of rest in between.
That was as a result of the reliance on the four-time MVP to will the Cavs over the line. So far James has done just that to see them past the Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors and the Celtics.
