Federer, the brainchild behind the Laver Cup, was in Chicago yesterday to promote the tournament he founded.
After shaking off a gruelling defeat against Juan Martin del Potro in the Indian Wells final on Sunday, Federer was on American soil trying to promote the second edition of the Laver Cup which was given its debut last year in Prague.
Joined alongside tennis legends Rod Laver and John McEnroe and ATP star Nick Kyrgios, Federer was discussing how the Laver Cup which pits Europe against the Rest of the World could affect the Davis Cup.
And Federer is confident that the Laver Cup will inspire positivity across the sport.
