Arsenal face losing two important players in Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, but they will only leave when manager Arsene Wenger is ready, claims Keown. Speculation continues to surround Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez, especially after he attempted to quell speculation he is leaving the North London club. Sanchez, who has 12 months left on his contract, sent a tweet confirming his intention remain at the Emirates from Paris, while Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be interested in the player. Meanwhile, Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has offered himself to Spanish giants Barcelona, who are attempting to replace Neymar.

I think Alex Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are heading for the Arsenal exit door Martin Keown
According to Spanish publication Don Balon, Ozil, who is out of contract at the end of the season, told his agent to push for a move to the Spanish club. Discussing the pair, Martin Keown told BBC Radio’s 5 Live he believes the players will leave Arsenal, hinting they could both leave on free transfers when their contracts run out. He said: “If they can get £50m for him, they would have taken it, would’t they? “I don’t believe they’ve had that kind of offer, he [Sanchez] has one year left, and can Arsenal afford him anyway? “There’s talk of £15m a season in wages, that’s £60m. I think Arsene Wenger thinks, ‘I’ve got him now, I’ve got him almost on the cheap, he’s done really well for me, let’s keep him for one more year – that’s 50 per cent of my time I’m going to be the manager of Arsenal.
“Ozil, as well, he’s another one. He’s seemed to have sort of paled into the background a little bit now. “I think both players are heading for the exit door, and they’ll do it when Wenger decides not when they decide.” Another former club legend David Seaman has pleaded with Alexis Sanchez to extend his stay at Arsenal. The Gunners legend told Express Sport: “I hope Alexis Sanchez will stay at Arsenal because I don’t want to see players of that quality leaving the club. “They are the type of players you’re willing to pay a load of money to bring in.
