The New England Patriots had a surprise visit after Wednesday's practice session: Kobe Bryant.
The retired NBA star spent some time hanging around the Pats' locker room as OTAs resumed following an extended holiday weekend.
The five-time NBA champion added some extra star power to the Patriots' voluntary workouts, which quarterback Tom Brady has so far not attended.

Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski are expected to show up Thursday for the team's fifth OTA practice -- and for the mandatory minicamp which begins next week.
