Jese Rodriguez is to undergo a medical at Stoke City on Monday morning ahead of joining on a year's loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
The former Real Madrid star has fallen down the pecking order at Parc des Princes following the £198million arrival of Neymar and was not included in the squad that beat Guingamp on Sunday.
Jese had been poised to join Serie A outfit Fiorentina, but prefers a move to the Premier League and now looks set to become the latest former Spanish prodigy to arrive at the bet365 Stadium following Bojan.
Jese Rodriguez is set to have a go in the Premier League with a loan deal at Stoke City
PSG paid £21m to sign Jese from Los Blancos last summer and it is understood they will push to recoup as much of that as possible, but there is no indication that a fee has been set with Stoke should a permanent view be sought.
The 24-year-old has been a significant failure in the transfer window for manager Unai Emery. He started just one Ligue 1 match last season before returning to Spain via a Las Palmas loan deal in January.
In total, he made 14 competitive appearances for the Parisian outfit and scored just twice, but Mark Hughes now looks set to give him a chance to reach the enormous potential he once showed at the Bernabeu.
Stoke are also in talks with Newcastle United to sell Joselu for around £5million.
