World heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has temporarily swapped the boxing gloves for football boots after enjoying a floodlit game of football in Dubai with Juventus duo Miralem Pjanic and Paulo Dybala.
The Watford-born boxer may form an unlikely trio with the star Juventus pairing, but a new year's holiday in Dubai brought the athletes together along with footballers from local team Al Wasl.
Joshua, Dybala and Pjanic were joined by Abdulla Saif Belhasa and Ahmed Elsaraf for a late night kick-around.

Joshua took to his Instagram social media page to upload a snap of himself and his footballing comrades in the aftermath of their match.
The boxer treated his 1.8million followers to the photograph showing himself alongside Dybala and Pjanic with the caption: 'Floodlit football.'
The break in Dubai gives Joshua the chance to get in some relaxation time before his huge showdown with Wladimir Klitschko in April.
But, despite this, the 27-year-old looks keen to be keeping up with his sport while out in the middle east.
Joshua also took time out to play in a match against Barcelona legend Eric Abidal (second left)
A video was uploaded showing Joshua taking part in a match in which 'Team Pjanic' emerged victorious in Dubai
Earlier this week Joshua was pictured playing in another small-sided match which included Barcelona legend Eric Abidal.
One of Joshua's entourage in Dubai, Ahmed Elsaraf, uploaded a video to Instagram showing the world champion taking part in a match as part of 'Team Pjanic' against 'Team Abidal.'
Once he returns from his fun in the sun it will be back to business as usual for Joshua, who has the biggest fight of his life lurking on the horizon.
Joshua confirmed the fight live with Klitschko in the immediate aftermath of his recent demolition of Eric Molina.
