After months of speculation and trash talk, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have finally confirmed they will face each other in a much-anticipated boxing match in Las Vegas later this year.
The two fighters have agreed to a money-spinning 12-round bout at the T-Mobile Arena on August 26, with Mayweather set to earn over $100million (£78.4m) for the fight.
UFC lightweight champion McGregor will also take home a similar figure for the crossover fight which has already set chins wagging across the sporting world.

McGregor mocked Mayweather's age when confirming the fight, posting a picture of his father
McGregor took to social media on Wednesday night to confirm the fight and took yet another shot at his rival - posting a picture of himself facing Mayweather's 64-year-old father - Floyd Mayweather Snr, alongside the caption: 'THE FIGHT IS ON.'
UFC fighters were quick to react to the news of the fight, with welterweight Belal Muhammad light-heartedly putting himself forward as a last-minute replacement.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic took to Twitter to challenge British superstar Anthony Joshua to a fight, saying: 'Hey @AnthonyJoshua let's have a proper tussle and still have time for tea and crumpets before the main event!'

South African boxer Chris van Heerden believe McGregor has little chance of victory, after posting a video of himself landing punches while sparring with the Irishman in a training session.
He said: 'People telling me Mayweather will have his hands full trying to land on McGregor -STOP IT! I respect McGregor BUT i ain't Floyd and I landed.'
Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch also expects a comfortable victory for the American.

Meanwhile, Nate Diaz and McGregor's personal rivalry shows no sign of abating after the former took to social media to ridicule the upcoming fight.
Diaz posted a picture of his victory over McGregor in 2016, alongside the caption: 'It's gonna be a good fight for that #2 spot.'
Boxing and MMA fans have also voiced their predictions for the fight, with many expecting an easy win for Mayweather.
