That’s the view of BT Sport pundit Frank Lampard.
Salah has netted a staggering 41 goals in all competition this time out under Jurgen Klopp following his move from Roma last summer.
The Egypt international was named the PFA Player of the Year last weekend after his stunning Premier League return.
And Chelsea hero Lampard says Salah will be mentioned alongside Messi and Ronaldo if he keeps this form up in the coming seasons.
“What he’s done is so extreme and incredible,” Lampard said.
“He’s been at Chelsea obviously but didn’t play much, but to come to this league, the most competitive league in the world, and to achieve the numbers and the quality he’s done, that’s why he won PFA Player of the Year.
“He’s given them a new-found confidence that they can actually perform at this level and go an win this Champions League.
