CLEVELAND, Ohio - One of the most buzzed about things in the sports gaming world right now are the ratings for players on NBA 2K18.
The game, which rolls out Sept. 19, aims to be the most realistic yet. And player ratings will be a huge part of that.
Up until recently, cover star, Kyrie Irving was the only member of the Cleveland Cavaliers whose rating was revealed (he earned a 90). Now we have more information.
Backup guard Kay Felder has an NBA 2K18 rating of 70, while newly signed Derrick Rose was given a rating of 78.
Rose's rating marks the lowest yet for the former MVP to start a 2K campaign. That's somewhat surprising, given that Rose played 64 games last season, averaging 18 points per game, the most he has since the 2011-2012 season.
The former point guard for the New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls will have a chance to increase his rating based on how he performs throughout the actual NBA season.
Another high-profile rating to be revealed belongs to the San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard. The standout two-way star earned a rating of 95, putting him just behind Kevin Durant (96) for the highest rating on the game so far.
