The Warriors lost to the Spurs on Monday, 89-75. Here’s how it all went down.
KEY MOMENT
The Warriors entered Monday’s game without Stephen Curry (right ankle), Klay Thompson (fractured right thumb) and Kevin Durant (right rib soreness). Then they suffered another blow, losing their fourth All-Star after Draymond Green sustained a pelvic contusion in the second quarter and didn’t return. The Warriors, who trailed by as many as 16 points, clawed their way back from that deficit to enter the fourth quarter up, 63-61, their first lead of the game. But the Spurs went on a 20-4 run in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

STOCK UP
Quinn Cook – The 24-year-old two-way player has played lights out basketball over the last three games. He had a team-high 20 points on Monday, scoring nearly twice as much as any of his teammates. It’s his latest great game in a string of strong performances. In Friday’s loss to Sacramento, he had a career-high 25 points on 10-for-13 shooting. Then in the team’s next game, a win over Phoenix on Saturday, he shattered that career-high with 28 points on 11-for-17 shooting. Cook is making a real case to be on the Warriors’ playoff roster.

Kevon Looney – He had 12 points on six-for-seven shooting and a team-high eight rebounds. He scored in double-figures in consecutive games for the first time in his career after finishing with 13 points against the Suns on Saturday.

STOCK DOWN
Nick Young – The Warriors entered Monday’s game with a 72.6-point hole left by the absences of Curry, Durant and Thompson, their top three scorers. Young needed to have a big game. Instead, he had 10 points on two-for-10 shooting from the field.
Jordan Bell – In 22 minutes of play, Bell had one point on zero-for-three shooting and three rebounds. Yikes.
NUMBERS OF NOTE
75: The Warriors’ 75 points was the fewest points they’ve scored this season. In fact, it was the fewest points they’ve scored since Steve Kerr became the team’s head coach in 2014.
19: That’s how many points LaMarcus Aldridge scored in the fourth quarter. It was the second-highest four quarter performance of his career. He finished with a game-high 33 points and 12 rebounds.

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT
When Green was asked if he’s going to miss time because of his pelvic injury, he said, “I don’t think so.”
Green added that he doesn’t think the injury is serious.
“I’ll be fine,” Green said. “I think it’s something that’s just at the peak right now, but it’s calmed down a little bit since it happened.”
