The NBA released the Sixers' 2017-'18 schedule on Monday night, which includes a game on Christmas against the Knicks, and a showdown against the Eastern Conference rival Boston Celtics in London.
Opening the season on the road against John Wall and the Washington Wizards on Oct. 18 on ESPN, the Sixers will play their first game in front of the home fans at the Wells Fargo Center two nights later against the Celtics.
The Sixers and Celtics will, of course, renew their rivalry at the O2 arena in London on Jan. 11, 2018.
Clearly, the NBA has high hopes and expectations for Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Markelle Fultz, Dario Saric and the Sixers, featuring the Sixers 14 times on national television in the upcoming season.
The Sixers will get their first crack at the defending world champion Golden State Warriors on Nov. 18 at home.
