There is nothing wrong with wearing a helmet to drive — it is, of course, encouraged in the high-octane world of motorsport.
But Warriors star Stephen Curry was guilty of misinterpretation on the golf course Tuesday when he donned three-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton's helmet for a tee shot.
The safety benefits were limited, while the restricted visibility made for a woeful attempt that got nowhere near the fairway and took a chunk out of the pristine turf at Mission Hills Golf Club in China.
A second, much-improved drive without the helmet means we've probably seen the last of the golf-basketball-F1 hybrid for now.
