Another Cleveland Browns alumus is showing his support for the team via Twitter - in the form of a jersey bet.
On Wednesday, Browns retired legend and All-Pro left tackle Joe Thomas tweeted a counter offer to Damarious Randall's jersey proposal. Randall, who was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Browns earlier this offseason, recently posted a tweet about the Cavs that set Twiter on fire.
If the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2018 NBA finals I’ll buy everyone who retweet’s this a jersey... — Damarious Randall (@RandallTime) May 29, 2018
Thomas caught wind of the tweet and offered up his own jersey proposal.
I’m so confident in my @cavs , if the @warriors win the 2018 NBA finals, I’ll buy anyone who retweets this a signed @StephenCurry30 gameworn jersey. Even you @RandallTime . @KingJames https://t.co/zsQp3LxGbu — Joe Thomas (@joethomas73) May 30, 2018
After getting multiple mentions questioning if he would acutally be able to supply enough gameworn Stephen Curry jerseys, Thomas modified his offer.
Ok, it can be any signed, game worn @NBA jersey. Doesn’t have to be @warriors . — Joe Thomas (@joethomas73) May 30, 2018
The Cavaliers enter the Finals as overwhelming underdogs against the Golden State Warriors, according to Vegas oddmakers . Golden State opened up as 12-point favorites for Game 1 on Thursday night.
This is the fourth straight year the Warriors and Cavs will face each other in the Finals, the first time that's happened in North American sports history.
