Gustavo Valencia's Biography
One of my biggest passions in life is work with data analysis. Currently, I am a PhD student at Purdue University, working in The Nanoelectronic Modeling Group (NCN), under supervision of Dr. Gerhard Klimeck and Dr. Michael Zentner.
Further information about my research can be found in my personal webpage
My primary responsibilities are to develop and implement data analysis, big data and data mining models over nanoHUB platform, which has thousands of resources such as simulation tools, course materials, lectures, and many more. NanoHUB has become the world's largest nanotechnology research network with 300,000 users approximately, which generates a large database and opens the opportunity to analyze user behavior, discover patterns and conducts related to education and research in nanotechnology.
Research Interest
Develop data visualization, statistical, and data mining models in order to discover meaningful patterns in complex engineering problems.
