This course requires you to access shared MATLAB Drive folders to get assignment, exam, and project files. You need your own version of files in the shared folder. You have two choices: copy the shared folder to your personal MATLAB Drive or download the shared folder to your personal computer.

Get the files

Copy to your MATLAB Drive

  1. Click the shared link in Brightspace, which will open MATLAB Drive (may require login).
  2. Just above the file list in MATLAB Drive, click Add to my Files and then click Copy Folder.
  3. The copied folder gets placed in your top-level MATLAB Drive folder.
  4. Move the folder to the location you want within your MATLAB Drive file structure. 
  5. Your files are ready to use on MATLAB Drive.

Download to your computer

  1. Click the shared link in Brightspace, which will open MATLAB Drive (may require login).
  2. Click Download Shared Folder near the top of the files list.
  3. From your downloads, move the downloaded *.zip folder to the location you want on your computer’s file structure.
  4. Extract the files from the *.zip folder.
  5. Your files are ready to use on your computer.

MATLAB Drive Connector allows you to connect your computer to your cloud-based MATLAB Drive account. This is optional and is not required for class.
