After graduating from Purdue University’s Construction Engineering and Management program in 1994, Scott started his career with Mortenson as a field engineer working on various commercial projects in Minneapolis/St. Paul area. He developed his passion for the construction industry through his involvement with numerous high-profile projects in the commercial, sports, and semiconductor industries across the United States.
Scott has been a key leader in driving Mortenson’s industry growth, launching their Mission Critical business in 2012 focused on delivering enterprise and colocation data centers for many of the most influential aviation, healthcare, financial, and internet customers in the industry. He expanded his operational oversight by joining their Wind Energy Group and helped grow that business to be one of the largest renewable builders in the country.
Scott is currently leading Mortenson’s Data Center Solutions Group by providing operational oversight for their hyper-scale data center builds in the cloud and colocation markets. He was recently promoted to Vice President of Operations of this business sector. Scott and his wife reside in Minneapolis/St. Paul area with their three wonderful children.
