Elkin Taborda

Elkin Taborda is a former M.Sc. student in the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue. He obtained his MSME degree in 2012 from Purdue University and his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005 from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB) in Medellín, Colombia. His graduate research was focused on freehand sketching, idea generation and conceptual design in engineering. Previously, he had been involved in research projects working on the mechanical design of unmanned vehicles (aerial, ground and underwater). He has also worked as a consultant engineer working with advanced CAD modeling. Mr. Taborda is currently working for the UPB in his home country, Colombia.
