Yi Fang

Yi Fang received his Bachelor of Engineering degree and Master of Engineering degree from Xi’an Jiao tong University, China, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. He received his Doctorate of Philosophy of Engineering degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, USA on December, 2011. He worked as research intern in Siemens Corporate Research (Princeton, NJ) on 3D medical image processing. He joined Riverain Technologies, an leader and technology innovator in the health care industry and beyond, as a Senior Research Scientist. His current research interests are in computer graphics, computer vision, image processing, machine learning and their applications to multiple disciplines in engineering, medicine, biology and social science. He has authored or co-authored 16 refereed papers in journals and top tier conferences in his research areas and some of his works have been widely covered by national and international media, such as Purdue Newsroom, Sciencedaily and Yahoo!
