The Indiana-Chicago Metro Area Regional Math Alliance is a regional alliance affiliated with the Math Alliance. Founded in 2018 and hosted at Purdue University, it brings together all colleges and universities in Indiana as well as those in the Chicago Metropolitan area. In accordance with the Math Alliance mission, we strive to build a new American community in the mathematical and statistical sciences. One of our areas of interest is data science. While the Math Alliance is concerned with preparing students for Ph.D. programs in mathematical sciences (and other quantitatively intensive fields), our regional alliance targets all undergraduate students with an interest in mathematical sciences, whether they plan to go to graduate school or not.
