Here are the upcoming philanthropy events that GSA will be hosting!\u00a0\u00a0We’ve got lots of good things coming up this semester and we need your\u00a0\u00a0help! More details will follow about each of them.<\/p>\n

Tuesday October 30th, 3-4 pm<\/strong>: Hanna Community Center (in
\nLafayette); helping kids with homework (2000 Elmwood Avenue,
\nLafayette, about a ten minute drive from campus)<\/p>\n

This is a great opportunity to help inspire kids to want to keep
\nlearning! It sounds like they would love all the help they can get, so
\nwe may be doing more with them in the future. Look for more details\u00a0.<\/p>\n

Saturday November 10th<\/strong>, 9-2pm: Purdue Winterization (meet at<\/span>
\nPurdue); prepping yards in the community for winter.\u00a0See details here:\u00a0https:\/\/www.purduewinterization.org\/<\/a>\u00a0We will be helping local residents clean up their yards to prepare for the winter.\u00a0Registration for our group is now open!\u00a0<\/b>If you want to join, click “Volunteer Registration” and select ABE GSA when asked\u00a0about your group. We’ll be doing the first wave, so come at 8 am if you want breakfast (I think you can come a little later if you don’t care) and they do serve lunch. Also, we meet on-campus and go from there so don’t worry about rides.<\/p>\n

November 1-December 8:<\/strong> Toy drive! Give a child a toy for
\nChristmas! Collection spots will be set up around departmental areas.<\/p>\n
