I2R is a FREE after school engineering program offered through the Women in Engineering Program at Purdue University for 6th-8th grade students.  I2R provides a unique opportunity to explore  themed areas of engineering through a combination of faculty guest speakers, lab tours and hands-on engineering activities.  Each theme will meet in evenings once a week for five weeks.

 

Spring 2015 Session: Engineering the Frontiers of Medicine 

Students will have the opportunity to learn more about how engineers are involved in all aspects of the medical field from medical devices to futurist advances in technology with fun, hands-on activities. 

Tuesdays, March 31st to April 28th, 6-8pm at Purdue West Lafayette Campus.

Who is eligible?

All 6th-8th grade students that are interested in exploring engineering are encouraged to sign up.


What are the 2014-15 themes?

The Spring 2015 engineering theme is "Engineering the Frontiers of Medicine"

Students will have the opportunity to learn more about how engineers are involved in all aspects of the medical field from mecdical devices to futurist advances in technology with fun, hands-on activities.

Space is limited to 36 participants for each theme.
