226th Meeting of the Electrochemical Society

The Electrochemical Society was founded in 1902 as a showcase for a broad range of phenomena relating to electrochemical and solid-state science and technology. Since then, the ECS is comprised of greater than 8,000 scientists and engineers in over 70 countries, and partnered with over 100 corporations and laboratories. The organization's objectives include the advancement of theory and practice of electrochemistry, solid-state science, and allied subjects; encouragement of research, exposure, and education in these fields; and ensurance of training and education of fundamental and applied scientists and engineers in these fields. The ECS provides a wealth of supprot to the electrochemical field in the form of an established journal, technical meetings, esteemed published works, and student support.

The the 226th Meeting of the Electrochemical Society was held at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Prof. Pol delivered a talk, "Lithium Alloying Nanoparticles Deposited 3D Carbon Architectures as Anodes for Li-Ion Batteries."
