Indo-US Science & Technology Forum 2014



The Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) is an autonomous, not-for-profit society that promotes and catalyzes collaboration among prominent leaders in government, industry, & academia from both India and the United States. The principle objective of IUSSTF is to provide opportunities; to exchange ideas, information, skills and technologies; and to collaborate on scientific and technological endeavours of mutual interest that can translate the power of science for the benefit of mankind at large. The scope of IUSSTF collaborations includes the fields of science, technology, engineering, & biomedical research. The forum was established in March 2000 under a documented agreement between the Indian and United States Governments.

The 2014 IUSSTF was hosted by Purdue Univeristy at the Discovery Research Park. Prof. C. N. R. Rao presented the inaugural address, "Artificial Photosynthesis and the Generation of Hydrogen by Water Splitting." Prof. Pol presented the talk, "Multifunctional Electrode Materials for Sustainable Energy Storage and Energy Conversion Technologies."
