Annual Print & Poster Exchange

The Visual Arts Commitee sponsors an Annual Lending Collection Poster Exchange each fall. Faculty and staff members borrow from the 3,876 posters in the collection, such as the ones shown at left. The artwork is loaned for a period of 12 to 24 months, after which time it is returned and may be exchanged for different pieces.

Lending Collection Pictures are to be hung on campus in offices, conference rooms and reception areas with borrowing limited to Purdue staff and faculty. Art posters are also installed in various locations around campus, including foyers, hallways, and laboratories.

This year's Exchange will take place during Fall Break in the new Visual & Performing Arts Building - VPA 1154. The Donor Session will be held on Friday, October 8th from 11:00am to 2:00pm. This is event is for those who currently donate or wish to contribute to the annual exchange.

The Trading Session will be held on Monday, October 11th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. This event is for those trading currently held prints; trades are made on a one-for-one basis.

The New Loan Session will be held on Tuesday, October 12th from 11:00am to 1:00pm. This event is for those wishing to begin participating in the exchange or those who want to add to their number of prints.
