Maurice Sendak Collection

A collection of Maurice Sendak’s so called “Easy Images” now graces the Underground Gallery. Sendak coined the term easy images, as he says because all of the pictures in the collection “…were painted in rare moments of relaxation, and …simply they were fun to do.”

The Underground Gallery is located in the underground tunnel between the Purdue Student Union and the Grant Street parking garage.
