Rebecca (Becky) Yoder is the director of educational partnerships for Purdue University’s College of Engineering, where she leads statewide and community-based initiatives that strengthen pathways into engineering education and STEM careers. She works closely with K–12 schools, community organizations, industry partners and campus stakeholders to expand access, engagement and early awareness of engineering across Indiana.
Yoder brings extensive experience in recruitment, outreach strategy and partnership development, with a strong focus on sustainable, scalable programming. She has served as a robotics program director and STEM advocate, leading the development of hands-on learning opportunities, educator partnerships and externally funded initiatives that support student engagement and innovation. Her work emphasizes relationship-building, strategic alignment and creating opportunities that connect classroom learning to real-world engineering experiences.
In her role at Purdue, Yoder collaborates across academic units and external partners to design and implement initiatives that support recruitment, retention and long-term student success in engineering. She is especially passionate about building inclusive pathways that help students see themselves as future engineers.
