This video presents an example of a Wafer manufacturing system which consists of 2 basic steps: diffusion and lithography. For each step, it has several sub-steps. For each sub-step, it has 2 types of machine: fast and slow which will take different times to complete the sub-step. For each type of machine, it has 2 levels: Low and High, which represents different numbers of machines. |
This video shows the process to use Smart Design to generate optimal two level designs. For generating optimal two level designs, we use the RSS, ES2, A-Optimal and D-Optimal criteria. For each criterion, we ask you for the number of design points and factors per design point to generate the design. |
This tutorial video takes you through the modeling of the Wafer Manufacturing System discussed in the first video, on the simulation software, Arena. The Wafer Manufacturing System’s Arena files can be downloaded on our website under the Download Tab. |
This video shows how to use the design obtained from Smart Design to simulate on Arena. We use the tool Process Analyser in Arena to simulate and analyse the process. You can use the design obtained from Smart Design as factor settings for individual machines in the Wafer Manufacturing System and simulate each design point as required. |
