The ground water flow model is available on
loan for public education on drinking water protection
at the Knox County Extension office. |

Movement of water and contaminants
are easily demonstrated to groups of all ages. The following are examples of some of the actions that can be demonstrated: * functioning of tile drainage systems * water table fluctuations * leaking landfills and underground storage tanks * movement of water in artesian wells * non-point source leaching and well contamination |

The model comes with training materials including care and use video, manuals, and other tips for successful demonstrations. | ||||||||||||
