The appointment was effective on May 15, 2016 and lasts for one year. Prof. Yih will be responsible for engaging faculty, coordinating strategic research initiatives and programs, and participating in the Center leadership as part of the administrative and faculty leadership teams. Her expertise in systems process improvement through design and control will be very valuable to Center operations. The RCHE's focus is to apply the principles of engineering, management, and science to improve healthcare delivery.
