PRF recognizes Yih for patent
Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) recognized IE Professor Yuehwern Yih for a patent at its 11th annual Inventors Recognition Reception on Nov. 3 at Purdue Research Park.
Yih was among almost 80 Purdue faculty members recognized. Her patent is entitled: “Tone Reproduction Curve Error Reduction” (US Patent 9,014,578 B2) – Control parameters of a printing device are optimized using a process model to reduce a process tone reproduction curve (TRC) error between a process TRC and a desired TRC.
