PSD Volunteers are gain valuable experience as teachers, role models and mentors, and through service learning learn the inestimable value of reaching the wider community. Additionally, the professional development tasks required to plan and implement a successful PSD each year with taking a leadership position in managing a large project with interdisciplinary cooperation.

In addition to a fabulous PSD t-shirt to wear, you also get breakfast, lunch and the opportunity to meet the VIP astronaut at the after party. 

How to Volunteer For Purdue Space Day

To volunteer, you must be a student, faculty or staff member of Purdue University.  The rest is simple, just fill out our online registration form!

Important Dates 2024

• Thursday , August 1 - Online crew sign-up opens

• Tentative - Friday, October 18  - Mandatory Dry Run for all crew  - 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

• Tentative - Saturday, October 26 - EVENT DAY!
