What do you love about Purdue Space Day?
I love just getting the idea of space into children’s brains early. I like to think it will lead them to gearing their careers towards STEM and the Space industry in the future.

Favorite Class/Professor?
ECE 20875: Python for Data Science taught by Chris Brinton. When I took it, it was only his first-year teaching here at Purdue, but his class, teaching style, and his lack of a ‘superiority complex’ will always stick with me. If there was a question he didn’t know he would pause class and google it. Also, the topics of the class itself are relevant in all industries today.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
Until very recently the plan was always to be working as a Space Operations Officer in the Air Force, however now that job seems to belong to a new branch, the Space Force. I hope to be working within our new youngest branch and work to put it in the right direction for a bright future of supporting our nation in regard to all things space related.

What do you think your favorite memory of Purdue will be?
Overcoming challenges with some of my closest friends. Whether that be really hard labs/programming assignments in the classroom (shout-out ECE 362 & 368), or some of the mental/physical rigors I’ve been put through with my friends in AFROTC.

Hidden Talent?
I am exceptionally mediocre at whistling.
