About ProEd

About ProEd

Purdue online distance learning enables you to access the same world-class teaching faculty who teach on campus, and choose from a course list that reflects the breadth and depth of knowledge only a major research university can provide.

About Distance Learning

While all graduate courses are online, you’ll earn the same degree as on-campus students. There are no residency requirements. Our online graduate program options are specifically designed for working engineers, offering flexible plans of study with a format that allows you to study where you are.

Taking Graduate Courses Online

As an online engineering graduate student you will be taking asynchronous classes in the online environment. Instructors provide the material, lectures, tests and assignments that can be accessed at any time. Your lectures are not time restricted meaning you don't need to be logged in to preview your course material at a specific time. Typically our courses are available for download and viewing two hours after the "live" lecture has been captured.

Our Students

Engineers from around the world participate in our online graduate courses.

Our Faculty

Distance courses are taught by the same award-winning faculty who teach in the classroom at Purdue. Highly respected, devoted to excellence, and integral to the success of Purdue’s consistently top-ranked engineering programs, Purdue faculty members are among the world’s best.
